Facilities

We are located in at 1965 33rd Street Unit B, Boulder, CO 80301. Keycard access is provided 24/7 to our members. We have a diverse selection of tools and workspaces for many types of projects. Whether you want to build out of wood, metal, plastic, fabric, or circuits, our makerspace has it covered.

Metal Shop

This is our metal shop. Training is required to use the larger machines, such as the mill and lathe.

Welding Room

This is our welding shop. We offer classes for members to learn welding techniques. We have helmets, gloves, air filtration and a selection of scrap material for practice pieces.

Wood Shop

We have a collection of hand and power tools available for woodworking projects. We also have a laser cutter which may be used for wood or metal etching, and light plastic materials.

Shop Bot

We have a Shop Bot CNC Router. This tool can be used by members who have taken our Shop Bot training class. It has its own enclosure to help contain wood dust.

Electronics Lab

We have an electronics lab with many tools and supplies for building, modifying and repairing.

Textiles Room

We have a textiles room where members can experiment with fashion ideas and repair garments.

The 3D Printer can be used to produce physical objects for prototyping or production.

This room is used for classes, presentations, and member collaboration.

Storage

This area is used for project storage.

  • Each member may use up to one bin for free
  • Additional fee if more storage space is required
  • Storing items in other locations around the space is not permitted without permission from an Officer
